Westport Virtual Charters is a spawn of the Old Westport Virtual. In 2002, Westport Virtual was an upstart part 121 based out of DCA. Westport Virtual used MD-88s to start a strong operation out of Washington. With the inability to capture the market as needed in the 121 business, Mr. Peter Holske, decided to shut down for reorganization.
In early 2006, Mr. Holske relied on his extensive background as a Business jet pilot to spawn the idea of Westport Virtual Charters. Soon after the organization of funds and familiar faces from the old Westport, Westport Virtual Charters began service with their first aircraft, a lear 45. Mr. Holske saw immediate results because of a satisfied customer base. Westport Virtual Charters customer base kept growing due to the on-time, ultra luxurious service, and professional orientated staff.
A little over a year and a half later, Westport Virtual Charters has grown from one aircraft to twenty-six, and has solidified itself as one of the top business aircraft charter companies in the entire virtual world. Westport Virtual Charters finds its self carrying around 40 pilots at a time which eighty percent or more are active.
Westport Virtual Charters past has relied a lot on Mr. Holske willingness to devote time and effort into a struggling start up. All of Mr. Holske's hard work and dedication has paid off and created a highly profitable Part 135 charter organization. This provided Mr. Holske the opportunity to sell the company to Albert Sultan and retire. With the dedication and devotion from the current and new management team, Westport Virtual Charters will continue to grow and thrive as a leading on-demand charter service. The company has a staff of very experienced and well educated pilots and managers willing to devote their time and energy into making Westport Virtual Charters the best Virtual airline for a long time.
As far as the future of Westport Virtual goes, the sky is the limit and if you walk around the corporate offices just outside of Boston, MA, no one believes the sky will limit this company.
